Clearance Sale of Microsoft Windows Server 2022 CAL in the OEM Channel
Server solutions for collaboration, data storage, and access to corporate services are essential for any modern company. To enable licensed connections for employees or devices to a server infrastructure based on Windows Server 2022, Client Access Licenses (CALs) are used. These licenses grant users or devices the right to access and work with server resources and represent an important component of Microsoft’s licensing system in corporate environments.
A full clearance sale of OEM CALs for Windows Server 2022 Standard and Datacenter editions is currently underway. The offer is available for license packs containing different numbers of licenses (1 or 5).
It is also important to note that CALs do not replace the server license. They are specifically intended to grant connection rights to a server running Microsoft server software. In other words, the server license allows the installation and operation of the server itself, while CALs provide access to it for users or devices.
The documentation for the license packs is available in English and Russian. At the same time, the language of the documentation does not affect how the licenses can be used – they can be applied with any language version of the Windows Server software.

Simplified Licensing
OEM licenses are not assigned to specific users and do not require additional customer registration on Microsoft’s client portals. This allows for flexible license management while ensuring compliance with Microsoft’s licensing terms.
Important!
- Connecting users or devices without a CAL license violates the licensing agreement.
- Timely updates of CAL licenses help prevent unauthorized access to Windows Server due to license non-compliance.
- 2022 CALs can also be used to license access to previous versions of Windows Server that are still officially supported by Microsoft.
- Accessing the latest version of Windows Server with an older CAL version is a violation of licensing rules.
